Deep blues of seas
tossed with fury
laid calm by the kiss of sun
green growing strong
in answer
to the questions
of the future
greens and blues
deep colors
painted on the earth
by hands
of water
of soil
of light
and air
and minerals crystalize
decompose
brown
mud muck
turned to compost
nutrients
to feed
the greens
the blues
reflect
the pious
prayers
of hope on high
and fluid
transform
descend
in drops
cascade
in rivulets
turned to torrents
carving canyons
lined with green
formed by blue
descending to the sea
many colored
different hues
the light
the water
refract
reflect
the soft blue turns to deep
troubled waters
mirror grey skies
and the storm
moves fast
only to leave
drenched
the sun flashed
world
of blues and greens
again
we know
and yet wonder
mystery
our place
so small
here standing feet planted
we are part
of blues and greens
growing lush
ripe
rippling with the seasons
the rain
the water flows
through veins
we are blue and green
the earth
the mother
under skies
dappled leaves
resting
on the forest floor
waiting for the world to turn
to blues and greens.
